Chances are that if you've ever called Argosy Cruises, or used our live chat on our website, or clicked the Contact link, you've met our "Manager of First Impressions," Lona. But before she took up the seat behind Argosy's front desk you may have seen her down at one of our ticket booths, either handing you your boarding passes or helping you plan where to eat breakfast in Seattle. And as a Pacific Lutheran University graduate with a double major in English and French, Lona helps everyone with an elucidative joie de vivre.

What is your favorite cruise that Argosy offers, and why?
The Christmas Ship Festival, because it's so magical. I took my aunt and uncle out on December 9 and they still can't stop talking about it.
If you could charter one of our boats, which one would it be and what would you do on it?
I think the Queen's Launch is adorable. I would take her out for a tea party on Lake Union.
What would your Harbor Cruise narration sound like?
Lots of puns! And I'd probably point out a lot of my favorite breakfast spots along the way.
What is your favorite stop on the Seattle waterfront? (Besides us!)
The Crumpet Shop up in the Pike Place Market...but it's hard to choose because the Market has everything!
What is your favorite thing to do in town when you are not working?
Besides breakfast? [laughs] I like to walk around and hike up all our hills. And check out all the older buildings in Pioneer Square.
