How to Celebrate Earth Day!
Happy early Earth Day folks - who's ready to celebrate Mother Nature's birthday? It's important to take the time to realize just how much each and every one of us affects the land we live on. Although "Earth Day" comes once a year, being more sustainable, aware, and appreciative of our planet is something we can do everyday. Below are a few ideas on how to participate in Earth Day!
1. Get Outside
Spend some time out in the fresh air and go for a walk, hike, stroll at your local beach, park, or trail. Now is the time to take in the natural beauty that surrounds us and enjoy the surrounding greenery. Literally stop and smell the roses! Need some ideas on where to go? 2. Pick-up Litter at your Local Park or Beach
This is a simple, yet great way of actively participating in Earth Day and it takes minimal effort and supplies. Cleaning up after ourselves whilst in the outdoors is SO important and is the baseline of keeping our planet pristine. Grab a trash bag, gloves, and pick up! Make sure you are dressed accordingly and have the appropriate hand equipment for picking up after others. Looking to join a pre-planned event? See below!
