Medina City Hall
The early farms along the shores of Lake Washington were purchased in the 1890s and turned into sprawling estates by their wealthy new owners, after which the area became known as the Gold Coast. Today this is much still the case. And nestled onshore among today’s modern mega-mansions are the city hall, public park, and fire and police station of the small city of Medina (population 2945, with a median home value of $1.9 million).
