Seattle Holiday Events Starting in November

Seattle Holiday Events Starting in November

The holiday season can get busy fast, with so much to do and little time. Between buying gifts, wrapping presents, and showing family around town, it's important to make holiday memories of your own! To help with the holiday rush, here’s a list of activities starting in November! Not only are ticket prices usually lowest at the beginning of the season, but knocking out a few activities means more time for holiday moments in December.

1. Christmas Ship Festival - Nov. 23 to Dec. 23

First to mention is our very own Christmas Ship™ Festival. Ride on a decorated, twinkly boat as we cruise around to different waterfront park communities. Enjoy meeting Santa, singing along to our live choir, and sipping on delicious themed beverages and cocktails. Sailings are 1.5 hours long with multiple departure locations around Seattle, Kirkland, and Renton.

New this year are Preview Nights, on November 23rd and 24th, experience some holiday magic ahead of schedule and before our official Opening Weekend. Sail with Santa AND save while doing so, as tickets to preview sailings are priced at an early-season rate! This weekend depart from Pier 55 on the Seattle Waterfront or Shilshole Bay Marina in Ballard.

2. Enchant at T-Mobile Park - Starting Nov. 22

Back in Seattle after a handful of years is the beloved Enchant Light Display at T Mobile Park! Nothing says the holidays like thousands of colorful lights, illuminating the field. Not only do they have a variety of displays, but they have vendor stalls providing food, drinks, and more for purchase. Going earlier in the season will also result in saving on tickets!

4. Seattle Christmas Market - Starting Nov. 21

Newer to the holiday scene in Seattle is the Christmas Market at Seattle Center! Channeling the amazing holiday markets in Germany, you can experience one now in our city. Enjoy a variety of food, drinks, music, and shopping as you peruse the Seattle Christmas Market. This activity is a one stop shop for lights, food, and fun. Don't forget to grab some mulled wine or ride the carousel!

5. A Christmas Carol - Starting Nov. 29

Enjoy a 90 minute production of A Christmas Carol at the ACT Theatre! This is a holiday tradition in Seattle going on its 49th year and whether it be your first time or third, fourth, and fifth - you'll love it. This is recommended for children ages 5 and up. This is a great way to support the local arts community!
