Parking & Directions

Check-In: Queuing begins 30 minutes prior to departure time. Please do not queue ahead of 30 minutes. Your confirmation email contains your mobile boarding pass. Present this boarding pass to the Shoreside crewmember at the beginning of the line.

Boarding Gate Closure: For safety reasons, the boarding gate closes 5 minutes prior to departure. If you arrive late, please see a Shoreside Reservationist to rebook your tickets to a later cruise.

Port Valet: For guests joining us after an Alaskan cruise, visit Port of Seattle's Port Valet program to enjoy the Harbor Cruise & Seattle luggage-free.

Seattle Waterfront | Pier 54 & Pier 55

Ticketing Locations: Argosy Reservation Center (Pier 55)

Public Transit

FREE Waterfront Shuttle (seasonal summer operations)

King County Metro buses: Several bus routes stop within a short walk of Pier 55

  • Routes 113, 17, 40, 545, 550, plus RapidRide C and E/G lines head downtown and drop you near 1st Ave & Marion or Columbia & Alaskan Way — both about a 5–6‑minute walk to the waterfront
  • Metro Route 99 also serves the waterfront area; hop off at 1st Ave & Marion and walk toward Madison → Alaskan Way → Pier 55

Link Light Rail + Walk

  • Take the 1 Line to Westlake Station (in downtown Seattle). From there, it's about a 12–13 minute walk (roughly 0.6 mi) south to Pier 55

Seattle Center Monorail

  • Ride from Seattle Center to Westlake Center (just above the light rail station). From there, transfer to a bus or walk down to the waterfront (around a 10‑minute stroll). The monorail runs about every 10 minutes

Ferry & Water Taxi

  • While not directly to Pier 55, these are scenic options nearby:
    • Washington State Ferries dock at Colman Dock (just south of Pier 55) — a 5‑minute walk
  • King County Water Taxi (West Seattle route) lands at Pier 50, also about a 5–10‑minute waterfront walk

Ride-share & Driving
Ride-share services (Uber/Lyft) can drop you directly at 1101 Alaskan Way. .

Lake Union | AGC Marina 

Ticketing Locations: This location is now selling tickets this season. Choose to go in-person, book online or visit the Argosy Reservation Center at our other location at Pier 55 on the Seattle Waterfront.

Public Transit

King County Metro Bus (Route 40)

  • Route 40 stops right next to the AGC Marina on Westlake Ave N, running every ~15 minutes. It provides a direct and convenient connection for passengers arriving by bus

RapidRide C Line & Route 40 on Westlake Avenue Corridor

  • Both run along Westlake Ave, with dedicated transit lanes—frequent service (6–15 minute headways). Stops are within a short walk of the marina

South Lake Union Streetcar

  • Runs from the Westlake transit hub to Lake Union Park. The nearest streetcar stop is a 5–7 minute walk uphill on Westlake Ave to 1200, ideal for scenic transit from downtown

Link Light Rail & Monorail

  • Take the 1 Line to Westlake Station, then transfer to the streetcar or walk (~15 minutes) north on Westlake Ave N to the marina. Alternatively, ride the Monorail to Westlake Center and follow the streetcar route north.

Ride Share

Ride-share services (Uber/Lyft) can drop you on Westlake Ave N near the AGC Building. Just ask your driver to stop at 1200 Westlake Ave N—there’s a convenient layover zone by the marina.

Parking

Discounted parking for the AGC Marina Lot is provided for Argosy patrons. Please refer to your Locks Cruise confirmation email for pay meter instructions on how to redeem this discounted parking.
