Disclaimer
Argosy Cruises continues its efforts to constantly improve the accessibility of its site and services in the belief that it is our collective moral obligation to allow seamless, accessible and unhindered use also for those of us with disabilities.
Despite our efforts to make all pages and content on Argosy Cruises fully accessible, some content may not have yet been fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. This may be a result of not having found or identified the most appropriate technological solution.
Special Notes
Ticketing
To enhance the user experience with our online ticketing system, we have made it accessible to everyone. While it may require some familiarity, we have implemented features to facilitate navigation. The date selection widget functions as a table and can be easily accessed using arrow keys, specifically when the Virtual Cursor is enabled for JAWS and NVDA users, or QuickNav for VoiceOver users. Simply tab into the calendar, navigate using the arrow keys to find your desired date, and then tab out to select the time.
Menu Navigation - Screen Reader Considerations
While the menu is fully navigable to screen reader users by using the Tab key, or even arrowing through it, it has a considerable number of items spread across several dropdowns. Screen reader users who disable the virtual cursor (NVDA and JAWS), or disable QuickNav (VoiceOver) are able to use the left and right arrow keys on their keyboard to navigate the primary menu items, and the up and down arrow keys to navigate the submenu items.
To do this, before you navigate into the menu, for JAWS and NVDA, use the keystroke Insert + Z. For VoiceOver, press the left and right arrow keys simultaneously. When navigating the menu, press Enter to go to the selected menu option, or the Escape key at any time to exit into the page. Once out of the menu, make sure to reenable Virtual Cursor by again pressing Insert + Z, or Quick Nav by again pressing the left and right arrow keys simultaneously.
