Instagram Photo Contest & Christmas Ship™ Festival Giveaway

These official rules govern the Instagram Photo Contest & Christmas Ship™ Festival Giveaway (the "Giveaway") sponsored by Argosy Cruises (collectively known as the "Sponsor") and are binding on every participant named.
To Participate: NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. This Giveaway is conducted in the State of Washington and open to legal U.S. residents who are 13 years or older as of the date of each Giveaway, with a valid U.S. driver's license and/or state issued Identification Card, and living in the continental U.S. Participants who are under the age of 18 must obtain permission from their parent or legal guardian to participate in the Giveaway.
How to Enter: Upload your Northwest Event Show boarding photo to Instagram, use the hashtag #NWESxArgosy and follow the @ArgosyCruises Instagram account (the "Giveaway participation). Once you have entered the giveaway, you will receive one entry. The winner will be chosen at random from those participants who correctly followed the Giveaway rules, and will be notified via Instagram by direct message post. By entering, you grant Sponsor the right to collect your contact information and to contact you by phone, mail, email, facsimile, or other means. By entering, you agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the Sponsor which shall be final. Violation of these rules by you may result in ineligibility.
Giveaway Period: Giveaway begins at 8 AM PST on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 and ends at 4 PM PST on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 ("Giveaway Period").
Conditions: Full-time employees of Sponsor, its subsidiaries, its advertising and promotional agencies, and such employees' immediate families (including spouse, parents, children, siblings, siblings' spouses or dependents), and individuals living in the same household as such employees are ineligible. Previous winners of the Sponsor’s Giveaways are ineligible to win again within one calendar year. This Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Prize: Upon verification of his or her eligibility and compliance with provisions herein, the winner of the Prize will receive four (4) tickets to the Christmas Ship™ Festival (the "Prize"), excluding Christmas Ship™ Special Events and sold out cruises. Tickets are valid for Christmas Ship™ Festival operating day from the date of Prize notification until December 23, 2018 (end of the festival), and some other date or time restrictions may apply. Winner must select specific date and cruise time by November 1, 2018. No substitutions of the Prize are permitted except at the sole discretion of Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute in the event the offered prize is unavailable for any reason. Each participant is only eligible to win one Prize from the Sponsor's Giveaway within one calendar year. The winner of the Giveaway is responsible for payment of all taxes on the Prize and for any other expenses associated with the Prize not specifically described herein. Odds of winning based on number of entries.
Taxes: All federal, state, and local income taxes are the sole responsibility of each Giveaway winner. The taxable value of the Prize will be treated as ordinary income to the winner for federal and state income tax purposes. Winner of the Argosy Cruises Christmas Ship™ Festival tickets will assume and be responsible for all licensing, registration, and all other fees, including all applicable sales, use, luxury, income and special taxes. SPONSOR DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE REGARDING PRIZE.
Promotional Material: In the event you are the winner of the Prize, by entering, you grant Sponsor the right to use your name, photograph, voice, likeness, and biographical information in promotional materials, including Sponsor's web site, without additional compensation or notice, and without regard to alterations.
Notification: The winner will be notified via Instagram by direct message. It is then the responsibility of the winner to contact the Sponsor to claim the Prize within 24 hours of notification. If no response is received by the Sponsor within that time frame, the Sponsor has the option of choosing another winner.
Liability: Sponsor and its agents assume no responsibility or liability for lost, misdirected, misplaced, damaged, illegible, or incomplete entries, for any act or failure to act regarding the transmitting, delay, or processing of entries or force majeure events. Sponsor, its subsidiaries and affiliates, its advertising and promotional agencies, its give-away suppliers, and the employees, officers, and directors of all such parties, assume no responsibility or liability for, and all entrants agree to release and hold them harmless from and against any damages, injuries, losses, claims, or causes of action of any kind arising from participation in this Giveaway, the operation of this Giveaway, or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any Prize. Sponsor reserves the right to modify or end this Giveaway at any time, including for frustration of purpose.
Instagram Release: Per Instagram rules, the Sponsor states that these Giveaways are in no way sponsored, administered, or associated with Instagram, Inc. By entering, entrants confirm they are 13+ years of age, release Instagram of responsibility, and agree to Instagram’s terms of use.
